Georges VI Hotel - Biarritz

Excellent location and staff extremely helpful in getting car parking sorted, restaurants to go to and directions and arrangements for travel requirements.

The Georges VI hotel is both comfortable and well located and the staff are extremely helpful. Breakfast is a level above the average French offering.

I believe it is essential to make arrangements re secure parking when making your reservation.

Reception staff great, perfect location and very easy to find

The location of this hotel was suburb, you literally walk out of the hotel and the sea it to your right,just beautifull. The staff were very helpfull, when we were organising day trips,they did research for us and printing out any extra information that we needed. I would definitely stay here again and would advise people the same, a very enjoyable stay.

We were travelling as a couple with a one year old and really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Georges VI. The hotel is well located with good facilities, Business Corner was particularily appreciated. The staff are wonderful, very welcoming and friendly and understanding of the needs of a small child. We would definitely stay there again if in Biarritz and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Too exprensive for what it was.

For a three star hotel i found it very comfortable and clean and the rooms nicely decorated. My friend and I stayed for 3 nights and we both agree that it was one of the nicest 3 star hotels we stayed at. It might be slightly expensive at 180 euro a night (peak season). The staff were very helpful with information in where to go and recommendations on where to eat. I accidently left a pair of shoes which i had just bought and I am currently speaking with the hotel about sending them back to me. The location is right in the heart of Biarritz and within walking distances to everything. Overall we had a very good experience staying at George VI. I would not hesitate in booking to stay at the hotel again.

Smart, clean hotel, friendly helpful receptionist and rooms ready including cot in place when we arrived 3 hours early.

It was very close to the beach, as well as the restaurants and bars in the area. The staff was friendly and the breakfast in the morning was very good.

There were nights that we wanted the window open in the room, but it was so noisy outside that we had to keep them closed to go to bed. However, this is not the hotel's fault - the noise came from people outside.

We were impressed by the efficient and courteous reception staff, the cleanliness of the room and the location of the hotel.

The shower floor was exceptionally slippery and could cause a serious accident.
